The Digital Transformation People Change Lead will be part of the Heathrow People team but will be seconded to and play a pivotal role within the Heathrow Digital Transformation team. This position is responsible for shaping, driving, and embedding organisation-wide and culture change to realise Heathrow’s Digital Transformation strategy. The role requires leading people-focused change across the business, ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
 

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and embedding effective governance, processes, and funding mechanisms for the digital transformation programme in collaboration with leadership.
  • Coaching and guiding business function teams to drive organisational change adoption, capability development, and resolving issues impeding transformation progress.
  • Partnering with People teams and business units to align strategic workforce planning with future digital skill requirements and transformation objectives.
  • Designing, implementing, and refining people change frameworks, including conducting change impact assessments and monitoring progress using clear metrics and reporting.
  • Facilitating workshops and fostering engagement with stakeholders, ensuring alignment, clarity in decision-making, and championing broad-based cultural change.
  • Maintaining strong connections with the Strategic Change Group to unblock organisational challenges and raise awareness of transformation initiatives across the airport.
     

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in organisational development and people change within complex environments.
  • Strong track record of leading and embedding organisation-wide and culture change initiatives.
  • Advanced facilitation skills, with experience designing and running impactful workshops for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders and teams at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to overcoming challenges.
