THE WORK
Sikorsky Innovations, a cutting-edge rapid prototyping and product development group within Sikorsky Aircraft, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are committed to innovation and excellence in the design and development of advanced aircraft systems.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of complex electrical systems for aircraft applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analog and digital design, with expertise in processing, I/O, PCB design, and power electronics systems, including DC/DC converters and inverter/rectifier systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, simulate, and analyze electrical systems using modern design tools such as Cadence, KiCAD, MATLAB, PSIM, and PLECS
• Participate in all stages of design, from requirements definition to hands-on lab testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for aircraft applications
• Utilize expertise in high power/high voltage testing and design to contribute to the development of advanced electrical systems including power converter systems
• Create and implement PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance and reliability

Please Note: US person status is required as most programs and projects assigned are ITAR restricted.
