We are currently seeking a Programme Manager to work within the Cloud Native Product Portfolio for the Small Business & Accountants segment, covering UK, Ireland, South Africa, and Canada. This role will oversee end-to-end product lifecycles, from initial concept through to launch, ensuring alignment with the organisational vision and strategy.
As a Programme Manager at Sage, you will work with global teams, establish a deep understanding of portfolio requirements, and drive operational excellence through the implementation of world-class processes. You will identify dependencies between programmes and workstreams, using best practice frameworks to deliver efficiencies. You will also lead and manage a team of Project Managers, ensuring successful delivery across the portfolio.
Manage one or more programmes comprising multiple products and deliverables.
Collaborate with other Programme Managers to ensure alignment across all plans and portfolios.
Lead, coach, and manage a team of Project Managers, providing guidance, clarifying dependencies, removing blockers, and maintaining oversight across all project areas.
Develop strong relationships to embed yourself in the product delivery process across international markets.
Analyse project retrospectives and delivery trends by engaging with different product workstreams.
Ensure programmes support the needs of small businesses and accountants across the assigned regions.
Demonstrated experience with the Software Delivery Lifecycle and end-to-end product launch processes, including a strong technical understanding.
Background working in Agile environments.
Proven experience managing and developing Project Managers, with the ability to operate at programme and portfolio level.
Ability to collaborate with global teams to develop accurate and realistic delivery schedules, including go-to-market launch dates.
Experience working with accounting products is a plus.
