As a Quant Analytics Associate Senior in the Card Strategy organization, you will be a subject matter expert in understanding how data flows through our card domain. You will be responsible for improving our data schemas to enhance how we measure campaign efficiency and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product, Technology, and Controls to enhance the end-to-end value chain. Your role will be pivotal in enabling the planning, designing, and implementation of process improvements by analyzing the underlying marketing data.
Job Responsibilities
Enables the planning, designing and implementation of process improvements by analyzing the underlying marketing data.
Measures improvements using data and communicate improvements to key stakeholders and partners, including leadership.
Leads the charge on agile ways of working with maniacal focus, daily accountability, working in pods to drive progress against the vital few priorities
Analyze and translate business needs into long-term solution data models.
Evaluate existing data systems and work with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Uses data analysis techniques to develop insights that lead to new recommendations presented to management
Develop best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.
Researches, develops and implements new methods of measuring and analyzing data sets and processes
Works with a wide range of proprietary, industry-standard and open-source data stores and tools to assemble, organize and analyze data
Works with SQL multiple Datawarehouse, Reporting with Alteryx and Tableau experience
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
8+ yearsâ experience as a Data management with strong experience in card Marketing data as well as in data design and modelling methodologies and practices
Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.
Evaluate existing data systems and work with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.
Adept at navigating relational databases, conducting data analysis, writing SQL queries, data reconciliation, data mapping, data definition, and issues resolution.
Ability to navigate cross-functional teams â both large and small â and help understand data requirements and provide clarifications.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, LeSS, Kanban. Comfortable explaining and converting complex concepts into digestible information to be consumed by audiences of varying levels of expertise.
Overcome problems leveraging available data and tools to meet required objectives.
Develop and implement data strategies and helping create data models based on the business reporting requirement.
Worked in a data management role across multiple sources of data
Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients and customers.
Strong SQL skills working on multiple Datawarehouse, Alteryx and Tableau experience
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Preferred - Experience in the Credit Card, Financial Services or Technology industry.
Preferred skills in Python, Snowflake and BI tools
Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
