Azure Cloud & Data Solutions Architect

About the role:

The role is an Azure Data Architect with a focus on high and low levels designs for all aspects including Purview, Security, AI and Fabric.

Note: This role is UK-based and offers a remote working opportunity, with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining SC creance to work with UK public sector organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and govern enterprise‑wide cloud data solutions, including guardrail patterns, AI infrastructure designs, data fabric frameworks, and end‑to‑end security controls across large‑scale platforms.
• Provide strategic technical leadership by advising on data cataloging, governance initiatives, and ensuring robust architectural standards, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee complex data ecosystem operations, including incident resolution, security governance implementation, and the design of resilient, scalable, and well‑controlled data platforms.

Core Skillset:

• Advanced cloud data engineering and architecture, including Azure Data Science, AI engineering, AI architecture, Data Lakes, SQL database design, and full‑stack Azure capabilities with working knowledge of AWS and GCP.
• Enterprise‑grade data governance and security expertise, covering Purview‑based governance, Azure security architecture, data protection controls, and compliant end‑to‑end data platform design.
• Specialized industry and platform proficiency, including expert‑level SAP HANA/ECC knowledge and strong experience with Bloomberg and London Stock Exchange technology stacks for financial services.
