A successful dealership in New Orleans is seeking a trustworthy, ethical, and organized automotive Platform Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with regulations. This role includes preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, providing financial insights to support the dealership's success, and more.

Automotive Controller and/or Office Manager experience with multi store locations is required. Automotive DMS experience is required (CDK preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee auto dealership accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare financial statements, manage cash flow, and provide financial insights to support the dealership's success.
• Train, supervise and oversee accounting staff
• Ensure use of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures set forth by management
• Ensure reports are accurate and distributed to all departments in a timely manner
• Meet with dealership managers regularly to address receivables, expenses, sales, and ways to improve the business.
• Ensure all ethical, legal, and regulatory compliance initiatives are followed
• Partner with the GM while reporting directly to CFO

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Auto Dealerships as an Automotive Controller or Office Manager in a multi-store environment is required
• Automotive DMS experience is required (CDK is preferred)
• 'Hands-on' leadership style
• Ability to build and lead accounting teams
• Works well with department managers
• A positive attitude and professional appearance
