A high-performing luxury automotive dealership in the Columbia market is seeking an accomplished General Sales Manager to lead our front-end operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced automotive leader to join a stable, growth-oriented organization that values integrity, performance, and long-term success.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of new and pre-owned sales operations, guide a talented management team, and implement strategies that drive volume, profitability, and an outstanding customer experience. Responsibilities - General Sales Manager:

  • Lead and oversee all variable operations, including New and Used Vehicle Sales
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive volume, gross, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage, train, and motivate the sales management team and front-line staff
  • Partner closely with the General Manager to meet and exceed dealership goals
  • Maintain high standards of process execution, accountability, and ethical practices
  • Serve as the primary liaison with manufacturer partners on sales initiatives and performance
  • Monitor key metrics daily to ensure the department is on track and hitting benchmarks

 
Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Previous GSM or Variable Operations leadership experience at a high-volume franchised dealership required
  • Proven success in increasing sales, CSI scores, and profitability
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
  • Process-driven, data-minded, and results-oriented
  • Ability to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment screening
