Job Title: BizTalk Administrator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled BizTalk Administrator to perform environment health checks, maintenance and enhancements of the existing BizTalk applications. They will understand how to support the administration, deployment, and maintenance of BizTalk Server environments and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of enterprise integration solutions.
Responsibilities include:
Monthly global patching of the BizTalk Server/SQL Server production and non-production environments.
BizTalk Health Monitoring across the environments, reviewing reports and remediating issues highlighted.
Building the new BizTalk Server 2020 environments (Development, Test, and Production) and migrating off the BizTalk 2016 environments. Server decommissioning.
Deliver Server Instance Reports that address the BizTalk environments performance daily, weekly, and monthly while examining any issues and resolving them. Supporting monthly CRM patching and Linux patching.
Ongoing manual security patching: Visual Studio, BizTalk Server CU updates, SQL & Windows Server.
Development of custom BizTalk deployment and management tools; monitoring application for custom email alerts.
Manage and troubleshoot BizTalk Adapters including File, Oracle, WCF, SOAP, SQL, MSMQ, SHTTP, FTP, SFTP, and SMTP.
Deploy and manage BizTalk applications across development, test, and production environments.
Collaborate with development teams to support integration solutions and resolve deployment issues.
Maintain and optimize SQL Server databases used by BizTalk applications.
Implement and manage Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) components related to BizTalk and integration services.
Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Provide on-call support and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Active Public Trust clearance (or ability to obtain one).
5+ years of experience in BizTalk Server Administration.
Strong knowledge of BizTalk Adapters and integration patterns.
Experience with BizTalk application deployment and lifecycle management.
Proficiency in SQL Server administration and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and cloud-based infrastructure.
Familiarity with enterprise integration, messaging systems, and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft certifications in BizTalk Server or Azure.
Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for BizTalk.
Experience in federal or public sector environments.
