Small Business Card Analytics drives growth and performance with data insights, partnering to enable smart, data-driven decisions.
As a Vice President and Quant Analytics Manager within the Card Data & Analytics organization, you will lead the Small Business Card Analytics team, supporting the Small Business Card line of business. You will drive the campaign management lifecycle, including targeting, sizing, business case development, modeling, list execution, reporting, ad-hoc deep dives, test design and analysis, financial assessments, forecasting, and portfolio performance analysis. This role partners directly with business stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and track strategic lead and outreach initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics to deliver actionable insights and optimize business outcomes.
Job responsibilities
Provide thought leadership and technical expertise in advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, clustering, machine learning, statistical forecasting, optimization, and simulation techniques.
Manage and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to develop actionable business strategies and insights.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, assess data quality, recognize statistical anomalies, and connect data findings to business processes.
Lead end-to-end campaign management, including targeting, sizing, business case support, modeling, list execution, reporting, and test design/analysis.
Own program management, process development, and key stakeholder communications with limited oversight.
Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance analytics culture.
Deliver tactical and strategic insights across marketing, sales, finance, and business functions using state-of-the-art visualization and reporting tools.
Serve as a subject matter expert for data-driven decision-making and opportunity identification.
Partner with internal and external clients to solve quantitative business problems and optimize performance.
Collaborate with senior leaders within the Consumer & Community Banking organization to drive business strategy and performance.
Align with data owners and department managers to contribute to the development of data models and analytics architecture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
PhD or Masterâs degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Operational Research, Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics, or related discipline), or Bachelorâs degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to explain complex mathematical concepts and influence business partners.
Exposure to forecasting, planning, and business strategy functions.
Hands-on experience with data mining, analytical methods, and business strategy implementation.
Proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, SAS, R, etc.) and Big Data technologies (Snowflake, Databricks).
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
Advanced analytics, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
Technical understanding of data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes.
Experience with dynamic and interactive reporting tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau).
Consulting orientation and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
