## **1\. Role Overview**
Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving medical reasoning, clinical knowledge application, and health-related analysis in advanced language models. We’re seeking experienced Health and Medicine professionals to contribute by creating and evaluating health- and medicine-related prompts and responses.
This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically seeking experts who are fluent and professionally active in one or more of the following languages:
**Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.**
Importantly, we are not looking for translation ability alone. Candidates must have real-world professional experience practicing or working within healthcare systems in their language and cultural context, with familiarity in local clinical guidelines, medical terminology, regulatory standards, and patient communication norms.
## **2\. Key Responsibilities**
- Author realistic health and medicine prompts spanning clinical reasoning, diagnosis differentials, treatment planning, pharmacology, public health, and patient education
- Review and revise AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, clarity, and adherence to professional standards
- Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex or ambiguous medical scenarios
- Create controlled prompt variations that test subtle differences in patient demographics, comorbidities, care settings, or regional guidelines
- Evaluate outputs across different tones (clinical, educational, advisory) and instruction constraints
- Identify model failure cases involving unsafe recommendations, incorrect dosing logic, flawed clinical reasoning, or culturally inappropriate patient guidance
## **3\. Ideal Qualifications**
- Degree in Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, or a closely related healthcare field
- **2+ years of professional work experience** in clinical practice, healthcare delivery, medical research, or a related medical setting
- Active professional familiarity with healthcare systems and clinical practice in at least one of the following languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi
- Strong understanding of local clinical guidelines, standards of care, and regulatory frameworks within your linguistic/cultural context
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills in the target language
- Ability to exercise careful, safety-conscious editorial judgment
