If you’re looking for a career that will help you stand out, join HSBC, and fulfil your potential - whether you want a career that could take you to the top, or an exciting new direction, we offer opportunities, support and rewards that will take you further.

We’re one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with a network that covers more than 50 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are seeking an AdOps Manager,

Step into this deeply technical role at HSBC, where you’ll own the measurement and data foundations that make performance marketing work—less “campaign copy”, more “clean data, reliable tracking, and actionable insight”.

You’ll lead end-to-end tagging and tracking infrastructure (implementation, QA, monitoring), troubleshoot and optimise measurement across platforms, and build performance reporting that stakeholders can trust. You’ll also get hands-on with advanced analysis in Looker, CM360 and Google BigQuery to uncover conversion and efficiency opportunities, plus support MarTech initiatives like server-to-server integrations and MMP onboarding to raise our digital maturity.

If you enjoy solving complex tracking and data problems, translating technical findings into clear recommendations, and working across teams to deliver compliant, consistent execution aligned to Global Standards and relevant FIMs—this is a role where your technical expertise will be front and centre.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead and manage tagging and tracking infrastructure (implementation, QA, and monitoring) to ensure accurate data collection for optimisation and reporting
  • Develop ongoing and wrap-up performance reporting, and communicate insights to improve results
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using platforms such as Looker, CM360 and Google BigQuery to support paid media strategy and conversion rate improvement
  • Support MarTech projects (e.g., server-to-server integrations, MMP onboarding) to drive digital marketing maturity
  • Assist creating audiences and managing CDP usage to enhance targeting and improve campaign performance using 1st/2nd/3rd party data
  • Coordinate governance and operational issues to ensure media campaigns are delivered consistently and compliantly (aligned to Global Standards and relevant FIMs)

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:

  • Extensive AdOps experience and an understanding of the marketing ecosystem
  • Tagging, developing, and tracking capability (implementation, QA, and monitoring) to ensure accurate measurement and optimisation
  • Ability to gather, interpret and translate data into actionable insights (ideally using tools such as Looker, CM360 and Google BigQuery)
  • MarTech and marketing technology experience is desirable, including supporting projects
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, including explaining complex technical topics clearly and working effectively in a matrix set-up

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

Opening up a world of opportunity.

Being open to different points of view is important for our business and the communities we serve. At HSBC, we’re dedicated to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces - no matter their gender, ethnicity, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or age. We are committed to removing barriers and ensuring careers at HSBC are inclusive and accessible for everyone to be at their best. We take pride in being a Disability Confident Leader and will offer an interview to people with disabilities, long term conditions or neurodivergent candidates who meet the minimum criteria for the role.
