Professional UX Developer – Dealer Auction Why us: Dealer Auction is a digital business transforming automotive remarketing. Born from a joint venture between Autotrader and Cox Automotive, we are the UK’s largest online wholesale marketplace. Our core purpose is to help automotive businesses spanning Manufacturers, Fleet & Leasing companies, Franchise and Independent Retailers buy and sell used vehicles online faster and smarter than any other platform. We’re continually evolving our digital platform from search and data tools to logistics and transaction management, we now attract over 5,500 buyers and 1,200 sellers, transacting more than 120,000 vehicles each year. As the industry moves from traditional methods to online solutions, Dealer Auction is set to grow significantly. What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Frontend Developer to help us in our goal to drive the digital transformation of the automotive industry. You will work with product owners, data analysts, and designers alongside other members of the development team to make improvements and additions to our live auction platform. We continually challenge ourselves to ensure that we keep on top of Technology, ensuring we are using the right tools for the right job. We are primarily looking for people who can demonstrate experience in the following: Angular, node and NPM. Typescript, JavaScript and linting tools such as ESLint. Testing frameworks such as Playwright and Cypress. A strong understanding of CSS and CSS technologies such as SCSS as well as patterns like ITCSS. An understanding of good approaches to writing software. Ability to contribute to technical discussions, and collaborate with other developers. We use several other technologies where experience would be valued, but is not required: Storybook and other component-based viewers Build frameworks such as Webpack/ESBuild and Node.js. Figma or similar desig Salary: 50,000-54,949 depending on experience + other benefits
