Overall Purpose of the Job
The University invites applications for the above full-time post which is available immediately. We are seeking outstanding applicants with an established teaching record in analogue and digital electronics. The successful candidate will be joining the School of Engineering at the University of Manchester, and the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering within this.
The successful applicant will be expected to teach in a range of electronics and electronics-related areas, including but not limited to fundamental electronic principles, and advanced aspects of analogue and digital system design. We are particularly looking for candidates who can teach holistically across our electronics curriculums, covering fundamental electronics aspects such as passive components, analogue filters and op-amps, PCB design, and digital electronics and the programming of microcontroller devices.
This post is on the Teaching & Scholarship (T&S) career pathway, with clear criteria for progression, recognition of pedagogical innovation, and opportunities to take on leadership roles in teaching and learning.
