As a pivotal member of NRW’s core Leadership Team, the Head of Finance plays a critical role in shaping the future of the organisation at a time of significant transformation and opportunity.
This senior role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with peers across the organisation, balancing strategic leadership with responsibility for a high performing, business focused finance function.
Reporting to the Executive Director for Finance and Corporate Services, you will lead and inspire an integrated service that underpins robust financial governance, supports commercial development and enables value for money through high quality insight and informed decision making.
This fixed term opportunity runs until 31st July 2027 and offers a distinctive chance to play a leading role during a critical period of organisational transformation. It will particularly appeal to individuals motivated by making a tangible difference, providing strategic and financial leadership at pace, and contributing meaningfully to NRW’s future direction. During the term of the appointment, a permanent recruitment exercise will be undertaken with executive search partners, offering continuity and stability as the organisation plans for its long-term leadership.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
