Senior Data Analyst / Data Engineer

Location: McLean, VA 

Fully Onsite | 5 Days a week

Contract with potential for extension 

Key Responsibilities Data Design & Development • Design, develop, and maintain data solutions across analytics, reporting, and data warehousing environments • Perform hands-on coding and development using SQL, Snowflake, Python, and SAS • Build and support data models, data pipelines, and integration processes Data Transformation & Quality • Execute data migration, integration, and enrichment activities across complex data sets • Perform data profiling, validation, and testing to ensure data quality and integrity • Support source-to-target mapping and reconciliation activities Analytics & Reporting • Deliver high-quality analytical outputs and reports to support business and regulatory needs • Develop dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other reporting tools • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions Collaboration & Delivery • Work closely with business, engineering, and program teams to support delivery milestones • Document designs, logic, and testing outcomes clearly and consistently • Contribute to continuous improvement of data standards, processes, and controls

Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience in data analytics, data modelling, and data warehousing • Proven experience across data quality, data migration, data integration, and data enrichment • Expertise in SQL and relational database technologies • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python, and SAS development • Experience with databases such as Sybase, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or UDB • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access • Solid understanding of end-to-end data lifecycle: designing, coding, reporting, and testing
