We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team. This role is in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

• Build, integrate, and support a Cryptographic Asset Management Platform to enable the move to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
• Implement and support cryptography solutions across the BNY Enterprise.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to determine cryptography use cases.
• Create architecture, system build, procedures, and knowledge articles documentation.
• Respond to requests from users, Internal Audit, and Federal Regulators on BNY PKI.
   

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related fields.
• Certifications: CISSP.
• 5+ years of experience installing and supporting cryptographic solutions.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with the following:
  • HSMs and Key Management Systems (KMS).
  • Automation of cryptographic key services.
• Knowledge of the following:
  • Cryptographic algorithms and key management. 
  • Secure protocols and certificates.
  • Quantum Computing and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC).
  • Automated discovery and inventory of cryptographic assets.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards (GDPR, DORA, NIST, and ISO 27001).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
