One position is available for a Research Associate in Health Economics. The spine point awarded will depend on previous experience. The successful applicant will mainly work with Professor Katherine Payne, Dr Alireza Mahboub-Ahari, Research Fellow in Health Economics and Dr Alex Thompson, Senior Lecturer in Health Economics. The health economist will be expected to work on projects with a focus on developing decision-analytic models for cost-effectiveness analysis. An initial project will focus on a programme of work evaluating the economics of pharmacogenetics as part of the NHS Genomics Network of Excellence in Pharmacogenetics and Medicine Optimisation. The applicant will also be expected to work on other projects in different topic areas.
