We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Management Office - Project Analyst

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure regulatory change initiatives are controlled, traceable, and delivered within governance standards, specifically:-
  • Maintain and track detailed project plans (milestones, dependencies, critical path). Support RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Ensure regulatory milestones are clearly mapped to internal deliverables. Monitor stage gates and approval processes (e.g., design sign-off, go-live readiness)
  • Track regulatory commitments and ensure evidencing is retained for audit/regulator review. Coordinate SteerCo, Working Group, and programme-level forums (materials, minutes, action tracking)
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability from regulation → interpretation → requirement → implementation → control evidence. Track regulatory obligations against implementation artefacts.
  • Monitor regulatory interpretation changes and impact assessments. Ensure delivery aligns to commitments made to regulators
  • Ensure adherence to HSBC Change framework. Support internal audit and compliance reviews and track associated remediation actions.
  • Ensure robust change artefact storage (e.g., design docs, test evidence, sign-offs). Provide concise, decision-ready reporting
  • Produce programme dashboards (RAG status, milestone slippage, risk heatmaps). Prepare Steering Committee decks. Escalate slippages or delivery risks appropriately. Maintain programme KPIs and control metrics.

To be successful you will:

  • 7+ years’ experience in PMO, programme governance, or portfolio management within Financial Services
  • Demonstrable experience leading PMO governance across regulatory or remediation programmes
  • Advanced experience with change tooling (Clarity, JIRA, MS Project, SharePoint, etc.). Experience operating within Global Markets or Capital Markets environments
  • Strong understanding of change governance frameworks within Tier 1 banking environments
  • Experience managing regulatory commitments and milestone frameworks. Proven ability to oversee RAID management at project or programme level
  • Experience producing executive-level reporting for senior leadership and SteerCo. Ability to translate delivery metrics into clear risk-based narrative
  • Experience managing cross-functional delivery across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, IT and Operations
  • Experience managing critical path analysis and interdependencies across workstreams. Direct experience on new regulatory initiatives, remediation or supervisory-driven programmes
  • Exposure to conduct risk, supervision frameworks, trading controls, or market abuse controls. Track record of programme recovery / re-baselining in pressured environments
