JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Lead Technical Program Manager in Corporate Investment Banking, you will drive the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that will help reaching business goals across the firm. Leveraging your deep knowledge of technical principles, practices, and theories is essential for developing innovative solutions, while simultaneously effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will enable you to navigate through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business goals. With advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities, you will foster productive working relationships and influence decision-making to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will contribute to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Perform ongoing optimization analyses and develop plans to drive incremental cost-reduction initiatives across assigned portfolio.
  • Support the annual Infra Planning cycle by capturing, pricing, and scheduling new investments, capacity expansions, tech refreshes, data center exits, application retirements and technology uplift program.
  • Oversee Execution of the resulting project portfolio, ensuring on time starts and timely completions.
  • Liaise with AD teams, Portfolio Lead, CBTs, CBT-1 PM, DBAs, SAs Finance and Estate Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage infrastructure financials throughout the year; create executive-ready presentations; lead and host the monthly CBT-1 call

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving - able to decompose business, technical and operational objectives into executable plans, measurable milestones, and clear acceptance criteria
  • Financial acumen in portfolio planning and benefits tracking; ability to explain variance drivers and implement corrective actions
  • Excellent communication-written, verba, and visual-with experience crafting executive updates and facilitating decision forums
  • Proficiency with work management and reporting tools (e.g. iHub, Mars, Cloudvision, Apptio CCM, Jira, eDart, Farm, etc...)
  • Technical stack familiarity: Hybrid cloud, data center operations, capacity planning, resiliency, and technology refresh programs 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 8+ years applied experience in technical program/project management (Infra Manager Role) delivering complex infrastructure or platform initiatives at enterprise scale
  • Certifications: AWS Cloud, PMP, PgMP, SAFe/Agile, ITIL, or equivalent credentials validating program governance and delivery excellence
  • Proficiency with internal Finance tools, Confluence, and Smartsheet; experience standardizing templates and building executive dashboards
  • Working knowledge of Python for data automation (e.g., pandas, orchestration/scheduling) and Tableau for automated dashboards and data sources; experience integrating Python ETL with Tableau Server/Cloud and implementing data validations
  • proven experience with  Hybrid cloud, data center migrations/exits, capacity planning, resiliency engineering, technology refresh programs, and application retirement/uplift
  •  Experience with portfolio budgeting/forecasting, run vs. change allocation, variance analysis, and benefits realization tracking
  • Experience structuring statements of work, managing SLAs, and driving outcomes with third-party providers
  • Executive storytelling, decision facilitation, and leading large cross-functional teams under pressure with a calm, professional presence
  • Experience codifying lessons learned, simplifying processes, and scaling best practices across programs
