Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Interim Deputy Company Secretary to join our Corporate Governance team on a 10‑month fixed‑term contract from mid‑July to mid‑May, covering maternity leave. This is a high‑profile role supporting the governance of a FTSE 100 organisation with a complex UK and international group structure.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

Your skills and experience will include:
Fully qualified Chartered Company Secretary with 8+ years’ PQE gained in a UK listed plc environment.
Strong technical expertise across UK company law and governance, including the Companies Act 2006, UK Listing Rules, DTRs, MAR and the UK Corporate Governance Code.
Proven experience working confidently with Boards and senior executives, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound professional judgement.
Highly organised and detail‑driven, with strong planning and prioritisation skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.
Experienced people leader with strong systems capability, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Board Intelligence (or equivalent), and Companies House e‑filings, RNS Submit and the National Storage Mechanism.
