- This role is part of the Employee Receivables Team within the Finance Division.
- Responsible for performing general accounting activities for the Revenue Accounting function in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and established practices.
What you'll do
- Prepare and review journal entries in support of the month-end close process
- Prepare and perform invoicing and month-end activities
- Prepare and review reports to support monitoring and trending of assigned accounts
- Correspond with internal groups across the organization and respond to external service requests, including researching and resolving invoice processing issues
- Prepare and publish monthly and ad-hoc reports and analyses
- Assist with collecting data and documentation for accounts receivable and employee receivable team
- Prepare and assist with invoice processing across multiple business areas, including account reconciliations, and follow up on issues or questions within established timeframes
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience/training
- Knowledge of account reconciliations
- Experience corresponding with external and internal company stakeholders
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- More than one year of professional experience, preferably in accounts receivable or a related area
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros, VBA, and lookup functions
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Ability to demonstrate experience using innovative thinking ability with high degree of motivation and problem solving skills
- Ability to demonstrate self-motivation, detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting, internal controls and SOX
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to be flexible/adaptable to constant change and scheduling needs to meet deadlines
- Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
