Role Purpose
The Enterprise Architect plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping the technology and business
architecture across the airport, ensuring alignment between strategic business objectives and IT
capabilities. Operating at SFIA Level 6–7, this role acts as a bridge between business vision and
technical execution, developing and governing enterprise-wide architectural frameworks that
support digital transformation, operational excellence, and innovation
The Enterprise Architect ensures coherence across business, data, application, and technology
architectures, enabling flexibility, scalability, and resilience. This role provides strategic input into
investment decisions, transformation programmes, and IT governance, while fostering a culture of
architectural discipline and continuous improvement.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Digital, Operations, Commercial, Finance, and
third-party providers, the Enterprise Architect ensures that systems and solutions are fit-for-
purpose, secure, compliant, and future-ready. The role also supports domain architects and
delivery teams in aligning solutions to enterprise architecture standards and objectives.
Principal Accountabilities
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, principles, and reference models across
business, information, applications, and technology domains.
Ensure architectural alignment with the airport’s strategic goals, transformation roadmap, and
regulatory requirements.
Lead enterprise architecture governance, including review boards and assurance activities for
major programmes and initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Essential
Significant experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles within complex, regulated
environments.
Proven ability to lead architecture development and governance aligned to strategic business
outcomes.
Strong understanding of business, data, application, and infrastructure architecture domains.
Expertise in architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, BIZBOK).
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
Relevant degree in IT, engineering, or business
Desirable
Experience working within aviation, transportation, or critical infrastructure environments is
desirable.
