  • Monitor and improve key payment metrics including approval rates, transaction latency, decline rates, fraud ratios, and conversion outcomes
  • Collaborate with card networks and external partners to support product changes, certification needs, and rule compliance across payment rails
  • Partner with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure adherence to applicable standards and regulations including PCI-DSS and PSD2 where relevant
  • Work with settlement and funding teams to support global settlement currency needs, funding flows, and operational readiness for new launches
  • Support interchange and cost optimization initiatives by aligning product design, routing strategies, and network programs to business goals
  • Communicate product trade-offs, launch plans, and performance results to stakeholders, maintaining clear documentation and decision logs
 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the card payment ecosystem including authorization, clearing, and settlement concepts
  • Explain and map end-to-end Card Present transaction flows including EMV, contactless, and PIN debit considerations
  • Explain and map end-to-end Card Not Present transaction flows including e-commerce, gateway, and recurring billing patterns
  • Apply working knowledge of PCI-DSS requirements and how they influence product design and operational controls
  • Use data to diagnose payment performance issues and interpret trends in approval rates, declines, latency, and fraud metrics
  • Write clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria suitable for engineering delivery and quality assurance validation
  • Collaborate effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments with product, engineering, risk, compliance, operations, and commercial teams
  • Communicate complex payment topics crisply to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders
  • Execute with strong prioritization, organization, and ownership in a fast-moving platform environment operating at high scale
