As part of a portal and applications engineering team you will be accountable for the following;

 

 

As a Staff Software Engineer at Confused.com you will be expected to

 

Experience working in large and small agile teams of engineers, and eager to collaborate with other disciplines, such as Marketing, Data Analytics & Product Owners

 

Good understanding of Cloud technologies, and their application to solve problems such as Event/Data Ingestion and 3rd Party API Integrations. As well as a strong appreciation of A/B Testing, Monitoring and DevOps principles

 

Solid understanding of mobile app development principles, including UI/UX design, performance optimization/monitoring, capturing analytics  and security best practices.

 

A breadth of knowledge and experience with native app development using all aspects of software development and familiarity with cross platform frameworks, preferably having experience with one of the following .net Maui, React Native, Avalonia, Flutter

Proficiency in the entire mobile app release process, including app store submission, version control, branch strategies and over the air(OTA) updates and deployments
