Job Title: Agile Coach India-Principal Software Engineer
Bangalore & Gujarat, India (Baroda/Gandhinagar/Ahmedabad)
Agile Coach works with the organization in its adoption of Agile, providing guidance to ensure effective application of Agile values and principles and improve team productivity and delivery quality in line with business goals.

Agile Coach must have sufficient technical background to be able to understand Agile development processes and communicate effectively about them with a variety of teams and leaders.

This role involves working with senior leadership, business and other stakeholders across various functions within business on value of Agile processes & coaching multiple squads/individuals working on multiple products across locations, ensuring that they are fully supported and are enabled to deliver to their commitments.

You should be a certified Agile Coach (ICE-AC preferable or ICP-ACC) with exposure to various Agile frameworks and should have practically implemented Scaled Agile framework (e.g. Scrum@Scale, LeSS, Spotify etc) across multiple teams.

This role requires at least 14+ years of overall experience in software industry and minimum 3 years of that in Agile Coaching.

 

What will you do?
Work with multiple teams to determine their current level of Agile maturity, developing plans to increase their maturity in Agile and in turn improve the overall delivery i.e. productivity & quality, e.g., “inspect & adapt” the team processes within the agile process framework
Assist squads with (1) creating and maintaining collaborative communication sites, play books and tools; (2) chartering, boot camps, and other intensive trainings as required, (3) refining implementation of Agile best practices and tools
Provide expert coaching to all squad members and other stakeholders as required
Identify and work towards resolving barriers for the implementation of Scaled Agile framework
Work with senior leadership, business, and other key stakeholders to understand the value of and engage with Agile product development processes
Assist with the identification, collection and reporting of Agile practice metrics and measurements
Organize and participate in Agile events, contribute to communication sites/tools, deliver presentations to stakeholders across the organization
Help teams and individuals adopt agile practices and methods while embedding agile values and mindsets

Overall responsibility for Agile process rollout, maturity & outcome
Provide coaching and motivate teams to achieve excellence, and mentor them as they develop new skills. You will collaborate with the Technical Leaders and support them to drive agile mindset to ensure that all projects are delivered within cost and on time to the highest quality standards.
Work with the leadership team to decide which engineering projects are the highest priority against the business targets, and which can be prioritized for implementation
Monitor ongoing progress and performance of rollout and provide timely feedback and updates
