Due the nature of the role we can accept UK Nationals only, who must hold or be prepared to undergo a security check to SC level and be required to be onsite full time.


Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Software Engineer you will work as part of a team of fifteen, with a hybrid working pattern (2 to 3 days in the office per week). The team will be working on a technical refresh of several applications previously built by CGI. The role will involve being part of a fast-paced fixed price delivery team. The roles activities include:

- Full software engineering lifecycle from design to delivery, including full documentation and review cycles
- Mentoring and coaching more junior members within the team
- Development of automation scripts and process improvements.
- Testing of solution changes to assure quality of the service
- Producing documentation as required, including release notes, installation guides, KT guides
- Carrying out deployment \ outage activities in line with project standards.


Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Full lifecycle SW Engineering skills
- C#.Net
- Subversion
- Configuration Control
- Build Imagery (ISO / Macrium)
- Winders Server / SQL Database
- T-SQL
- UPS Integration / Infrastructure Engineering
