What You’ll Get to Do:
This is a mid-level position for an electrical engineer experienced in hardware design and design analysis and with background in EMI/EMC engineering. The selected candidate will perform electrical circuit analysis, test and troubleshooting. In addition, the selected candidate will support development of EMI/EMC requirements, EMI/EMC hardware design requirements at sub-system level and will perform design analysis to verify compliance.
This position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields- Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
U.S. Citizenship is required
Active Secret Clearance is required
Electronic hardware design experience
Knowledge of MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 and DO-160
Knowledge of EMI/EMC simulation, modeling, and testing.
Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE
Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
M.S. in Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in using CST CAE tools
Experience with EMP simulation, modeling, and testing.
Experience in Signal Integrity analysis, working knowledge in using Cadence Signal Integrity analysis tool or Siemens HyperLynx high-speed analysis tools.
Experience with sub-system and system level EMI/EMC testing
Knowledge of circuit simulation and modeling using Ansys EMC Plus
