Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced JavaScript Developer to join our dynamic team. This role involves building responsive and performant web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Svelte. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, contributing to both front-end architecture and seamless user experiences. A strong foundation in front-end technologies, an eye for detail, and the ability to adapt quickly are essential.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable JavaScript code.
  • Work closely with designers to implement and enhance user interfaces using Svelte.
  • Optimise application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and consistency.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with state management and integrating RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with GIS/mapping libraries and spatial data formats like GeoJSON is advantageous.
  • Experience with other front-end frameworks/libraries such as React or Vue.
  • Working knowledge of back-end technologies and databases.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications & Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development.

Our Selection Process

After applying for the role, our in-house talent team will contact you to discuss Triad and the position. If shortlisted, you will be invited for:

  1. A Technical online test – circa 30 minutes
  2. A Technical interview session with our senior team members  
  3. An interview with our CTO, including a career review and cultural fit assessment.

We aim to complete interviews and progress candidates to offer stage within 2-3 weeks of the initial conversation.
