Barclay's is looking for a skilled and driven Micro Services Cloud Developer to join our dynamicteam, playing a key role in the design, development, and continuous improvement of softwaresolutions that drive business and technology transformation. This role is critical to the CashSettlements Program, a multi-year campaign focused on decommissioning legacy platforms andreplacing them with modern microservices-based architectures. As part of the GBS Decommissioning (Decom) strategy, you will contribute to building scalable payment services and support themigration scheduled.
To be successful as a Micro Services Cloud Developer, you should have experience with:
•Developing micro services in Java
•Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
•Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs
Some other highly valued skills may include:
•Learning process automation software like Camunda
•Front end UI experience (Angular, Apache Kafka)
•Back end experience (Mongo, Oracle)
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and
controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary $120,000
Maximum Salary $175,000
