We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who has an eye for exciting, engaging web design that consistently elevates the marketing of our brand and website.
The successful candidate is a creative and detail-oriented, systemic thinker, who enjoys defining and building web design patterns, elements, and resources. It is a highly collaborative role that works with product marketing and solutions teams.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to help evolve a world-class website that is at the heart of our go-to-market strategy.
You will be focused on building, maintaining and providing best practice for Front End Website applications in Amplience.
You will use a mix of technologies including web technologies (JavaScript/ReactJS/NextJS), backend technologies (NodeJS) as well as specific technologies required to support deployments and integrations with 3rd party platforms such as Analytics.
You should have a good technical understanding to be able to accurately size work OR highlight the investigation required to do so (ie, spikes)
Contribute towards the company’s successes by developing and designing components for our website. The successful candidate will work on improving existing projects and processes with the opportunity for new projects.
The candidate will have a keen eye for design and understands the importance of design systems in everything they create. They can demonstrate the ability to collaborate with a creative team and add technical know-how to ideas that are explored.
You are an excellent communicator who thrives either working as part of a team or on self-motivated projects. Your day-to-day focus will be varied – building web components and page designs that are created in Figma, website feature development, bug fixing and optimising website performance.

Solid working experience as a Front-End Web Developer (3+ years of website development)
Understanding of MACH architecture (Microservices, API First, Cloud, Headless)
Experience working with Headless technologies especially CMS
Great modern Front-End web experience (React, NextJS, Typescript, Vue etc)
Knowledge of Atomic Design methodology, and how this applies to everything they create
Good understanding and implementation of performance improvements (Site speed etc)
Good understanding of SEO and compliance best practices
Experience of building multi-locale websites
A good understanding of Figma, and its relation to the web development process
Basic Front-End experience (HTML / CSS / JS / Handlebars)
Previous experience working with any of the following: REST APIs, GraphQL, Webhooks, Handlebars, JSON and/or a CMS platform is a plus
Strong source control, version control knowledge (ie. git, releases)
Good collaboration with cross discipline team
Scripting experience (NodeJS, Bash etc)
Ability to develop with testing in mind (ie. unit tests / end-to-end tests)
Ability to contribute to design sessions using whiteboarding tooling such as Miro
Cross team collaboration for the broader business to help, review & learn from
Risk assessment – ensuring that solutions have no or limited downtime and non-breaking changes
