ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Network Administrator to join our team in Clarksburg WV.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
Update virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.
Monitor computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and
networks.
Communicate networking issues to other employees and management, especially in training new users.
Fix software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five + years of experience in network administration.
Knowledge of network protocols, standards, and devices (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN,WAN, VPN).
Familiar with network security principles and practices (e.g., firewall configuration).
Knowledgeable with network operating systems (e.g., Windows Server) and management tools (e.g., Cisco IOS).
Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, and SAFe.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current/active Top-Secret clearance.
