Enterprise Architect

Play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding Arqiva's media services technology strategy and innovation roadmap with your specialist knowledge in streaming and content protection.

We need a Senior level Enterprise Architect with experience of building platforms and services and live content distribution and protection.

You will be the Media services SME, supporting new products, bringing new technology solutions to Arqiva and supporting our growth in global media distribution and processing

·       Collaborates with Product and Engineering teams to develop new propositions and strategic solutions aligned with the company's business goals.

·       Recognised authority accountable for the definition of media services architectures.

·       Acts as a key advisor to senior management on technology advancements and innovations. Leads enterprise-wide initiatives to optimise and transform infrastructure and systems.

·       Creates and documents enterprise architecture artifacts (e.g. reference architectures, roadmaps, capability models)

·       Conducts gap analysis and develops and maintains current and future state architecture blueprints and roadmaps.

·       Guides and supports technical teams and Solution Architects as needed.

·       Evaluates existing infrastructure and systems to identify exposure or weaknesses that could compromise performance, security or efficiency.

The person

·       Expert understanding of both OTT and DTT infrastructure

·       Extensive experience and knowledge of media consumption behaviours and trends.

·       Extensive experience as an enterprise senior level architect

·       Extensive experience with end-to-end media production and delivery platforms and technologies, including production, playout, encoding, transmission, packaging, CDN’s and DRM.

·       Self starting and motivated with interest in emerging media technologies

·       Experience in designing and implementing content protection and anti-piracy solutions

·       Strong strategic thinking: able and articulate a high-level vision that aligns with the business objectives and technological trend

·       Exceptional stakeholder management, able to converse and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams across Arqiva
