Role Summary

Triad is seeking a Data Maturity Lead Tech Architect to provide leadership and guidance on technical strategy aligned to business architecture. You will play a central role in defining, steering, and delivering technical solutions, initially focused on building and validating metadata tooling, with future workstreams likely in R&D and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make informed technical decisions aligned with established business architecture.
• Lead and facilitate technical choice discussions and reviews.
• Define and establish optimal delivery pathways.
• Collaborate with developers to build and manage a GitHub-based metadata repository.
• Define and implement tooling for metadata construction and validation.
• Assess and decide whether to introduce new technologies or reuse existing capabilities within the current tech landscape.
• Work collaboratively with business architects to ensure alignment of tooling and technical approaches.
• Contribute to future R&D initiatives across a variety of domains.

Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in complex technical environments with a focus on metadata tooling and data maturity.
• Strong architectural leadership and the ability to align technical design with business goals.
• Proven ability to steer technical discussions and decision-making processes.
• Familiarity with MS Azure and AWS platforms; Google Cloud experience is also beneficial.
• Experience working with GitHub for repository and metadata management.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices.

Qualifications & Certifications

A degree or equivalent qualification related to the area you work in – Desirable

Due to the nature of this position, you must be willing and eligible to achieve a minimum of SC clearance. To be eligible, you must have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years and have the right to work in the UK.
