As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Wealth Management, you will be a key member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals.
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with expertise in Spring Boot, microservices architecture, AWS cloud services, and database management. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable micro services, ensuring high performance and reliability in a cloud environment.
Design & Development:
Develop and maintain micro services using Java and Spring Boot.
Cloud Integration:
Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
Database Management:
Design and optimize relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases.
API Development:
Build RESTful APIs and ensure secure, efficient communication between services.
Testing & Quality:
Write unit, integration, and performance tests; participate in code reviews.
CI/CD:
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
Monitoring & Logging:
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for microservices using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar tools.
Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps, QA, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience in Java development, with strong Spring Boot and micro services background.
Cloud:
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.).
Database:
Proficiency in designing and managing relational and/or NoSQL databases.
API:
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
DevOps:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Tools:
Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and monitoring/logging tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
