CGI is seeking to hire a Software Engineer in Test (SWET) passionate about Automation, Quality Engineering, and building scalable digital solutions. As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll lead automation strategy, CI/CD integration, and hands-on testing across modern tech stacks. This is a high-visibility role where your technical expertise will directly shape customer experience and product quality.

This is a FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT Opportunity based in either Merrimack, NH; Boston, MA; or Westlake, TX; in a HYBRID Working Model.
Future duties and responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for UI, backend and API layers
Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and uDeploy
Collaborate with developers and product teams to define testing strategies
Create test plans, test cases, and defect triage workflows
Integrate automated tests into DevOps pipelines
Assess software stability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
Lead testing best practices in agile-scrum environments
Build and manage virtual/mocked assets for scalable test environments
Preferred Qualifications:
At Least 7+ years in software quality engineering with a focus on automation
6+ years of Strong development skills in Java, JavaScript, Angular, React
6+ years of Proven experience with Selenium, Protractor, Robot Framework
5+ years of RESTful API testing using REST Assured, Postman
3+ years of CI/CD pipeline expertise (Jenkins, Git, uDeploy)
5+ years of Experience testing Angular, React, Node.js Java applications
2+ years of AWS experience; Python and mobile testing are a plus
Passion for delivering high-quality customer experiences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in financial services or enterprise consulting environments is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
