We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and highly-technical project manager to join our dynamic team in the Cable Legal Department’s Privacy Office. This role will report to the Privacy Manager on the Privacy and Legal Information Security team, and support Comcast Cable’s global privacy and artificial intelligence (AI) programs by providing in-depth analyses, actionable guidance, and process improvement recommendations. Experience in project management is required, and familiarity with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), AI assessments, and U.S. and international privacy and AI laws is preferred. Also preferred is IAPP certification. The ideal candidate combines deep familiarity with technology, privacy, and AI – with strong risk assessment, stakeholder management, and operational rigor. Core Responsibilities

  • Completes assessments of existing and new business processes involving personal information and AI that span multiple areas of the organization, including Advertising, Digital Media, Business Intelligence, Retail, Business products and services, Entertainment and Home products, Mobile, Customer Operations, and Workforce.
  • Interacts closely with cross-functional business teams and across the legal team to ensure accurate, risk-based assessments of Privacy and AI Initiatives within the PIA and AI assessment processes.
  • Assists in improving the company’s PIA and AI assessment processes by identifying potential issues and developing appropriate gap analyses and recommendations.
  • Provides hands on support of the PIA and AI assessment processes and questionnaires, including AI Intake triage and assessment coordination, and first-level review of PIAs.
  • Helps to define success metrics for the PIA and AI assessment processes.
  • Exercises independent judgment consistently and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Meets deadlines with consistently high-quality work-product while managing multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Meets attendance and punctuality requirements; availability to work outside of standard work hours as may be necessary.
  • Handles other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience in privacy, AI risk management and governance, risk/compliance, product counseling, and/or technology program management.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. and international privacy and emerging AI regulations and frameworks (e.g., state privacy laws, GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF) and ability to translate requirements into practical guidance.
  • Strong familiarity with AI technologies and stacks (e.g., LLMs, model lifecycle / MLOps, data pipelines, embeddings, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering), privacy / security controls, and data governance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality results.
  • Self-motivated and independent, but able to discern when matters should be escalated and when further guidance is needed.
  • Ability to translate requirements into practical guidance and formulate creative solutions to accomplish the company’s objectives.
  • Experience coordinating work for a team, providing support for projects, and with technologies including OneTrust, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
  • Sound judgment, strong work ethic, excellent problem solving and organizational skills, practicality, and a focus on positive business outcomes.

Education - Bachelor's Degree

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Law degree (JD) or relevant advanced technical / engineering degree strongly preferred but not required.
  • Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience. 

Certifications 

  • IAPP certification(s) preferred but not required
