Senior Software Engineer I – Devops AWS

Primary Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Management
Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Automate testing, building, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Use tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation to manage infrastructure programmatically
Maintain version-controlled infrastructure for consistency and scalability
Monitoring and Logging
Set up and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system health and performance
Implement alerting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues
Cloud and Containerization
Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Use containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Security and Compliance
Integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps)
Conduct vulnerability scans, manage secrets, and ensure compliance with industry standards
Collaboration and Support
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline workflows
Provide support for development environments and troubleshoot deployment issues
Performance Optimization
Analyze system performance and implement improvements to reduce latency and increase throughput

Required Qualifications:
B.Tech/MCA (16+ years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant)
6+ years of work experience in Product companies
Solid hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.)
Experience in deploying scalable solutions to complex problems, from defining the problem, implementing the solution, and launching the new product successfully
Knowledge of Statistics, Machine Learning Models, Model Deployment, Generative AI
Knowledge of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls
Exposure to agile development process
Proven proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
Proven excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
Desire to be proactive and work towards implementing
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
Azure basic knowledge
Familiarity with serverless architecture and tools (e.g., AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
