Job Description

As a Software Development Team Leader, you will help to drive innovation, mentor top talent, and shape the future of our platform with cutting-edge technology.

The Placement and Cashout team are responsible for the orchestration and fulfilment of user driven bet placement and return actions from our Sports betting platform, while also maintaining our cash out functionality and sports history.

You will be working on our flagship systems, enhancing our product offering with innovative new features. This is an exciting time as we continue to grow based on the constant success of our product and new opportunities in emerging markets.

You will lead a team that delivers the best front end and user centric experience for our customers, is exposed to challenges beyond the client facing products, and develops low latency, highly available and globally scalable solutions. With a solid foundation in software delivery, your technical knowledge, people skills and passion for software development, will be invaluable to the success of the team.

The team operates as a full stack team, the core skills within the team are TypeScript, React and Golang.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with leading development teams in the delivery of high-quality software applications in client or server-side application development.
• Passionate about working with technology and software development processes and practices.
• Experience with React, Typescript, Golang or other server side technologies.
• Adaptability, with the ability to lead a team to ensure the best outcome for the Business.
• Delivering low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
• Working in an environment with high volumes of transactions.
• Knowledge of service orientated architecture.
• Familiar with multiple software development methodologies.
• Experience with or exposure to Cloud technologies such as GCP, GKE or SaaS.
• Exposure to generative artificial intelligence and large language models.
