As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology division, you will contribute to the management and security of the Azure platform by designing and developing software solutions. Job responsibilities

• Contribute to the management and security of the Azure platform at JPMorganChase through the design and development of software solutions. 
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language with limited guidance.
• Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code and systems.
• Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation.
• Embraces team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on Computer Science concepts and expanding applied experience
• Experience with cloud computing and Terraform.
• Familiarity with automation and continuous delivery methods, including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language - Python
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services and the Azure SDK.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Desire to learn and continuously grow.
• Experience with Azure Policy and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
• A cloud certificate e.g. an Azure certification or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
