DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Conduct thorough risk evaluations and comparisons of Legal AI/ML solution vendors to ensure the most effective and efficient technologies for the Legal department's needs. Collaborate with legal users, business, technology and senior managers to identify, prioritize and assess business problems and use cases addressed by LLMs (Large language models). Contribute to the selection and risk evaluation of Legal AI/ML use cases, prioritizing those with the highest ROI and strategic value to optimize legal operations. Partner with business and product owners to deploy AI/ML models into production, ensuring compliance with internal AI/ML governance policies and procedures. Partner with technology and legal product teams to design and execute pilots/POCs, delivering LLM solutions. Provide consulting support to product teams implementing LLM solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility. Develop and maintain operating models to define engagement within and across teams to deliver legal AI solutions effectively. Prepare presentations and materials for senior management, project team meetings, and leadership reviews, effectively communicating project progress, challenges, and successes. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with all levels of management, fostering a cooperative work environment. Build SharePoint solutions to support project management processes. Design and implement advanced dashboards tailored for senior management, providing critical insights that drive strategic decision-making. Develop communication and training plans and strategies for user engagement. This position requires up to 25% domestic and international travel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Generative Al Adoption, Generative Al Specialist, Project Management & Operations, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following: working in a large, complex Corporate Legal department with at least one location in each of the major regions of North America, EMEA, LATAM, and APAC, including an offshore center such as India, including on both project and operations teams managing cross-functional projects requiring tool-based reporting and PM tools including MS Project, Tableau, and Alteryx. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: risk assessments of and risk reporting on project and business processes; managing interactions with compliance and audit teams for reviews and exams; building SharePoint solutions, interactive SharePoint sites and workflows. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: financial ROI calculation and evaluation; delivering and creating workshops or training programs focused on application software, process adoption and compliance frameworks, including trainings on regulatory standards, internal compliance policies, and best practices to ensure adherence to legal and operational requirements; communicating with audiences that include senior stakeholders such as General Counsels, Heads of Technology and Product Owners and presenting and managing projects at this level for a Corporate Legal department outlined above. This position requires any amount experience with the following: coordinating across teams of business executives and IT professionals, assessing business problems such as reducing manual workloads, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies, optimizing legal workflows, and driving operational efficiency; evaluating Legal AI/ML use cases using quantitative and qualitative methods including calculation of ROI and establishing prioritization criteria based on financial gains, risk reduction and strategic alignment with business objectives; conducting thorough risk evaluations and comparing technology vendors to determine usability for legal operations; developing dashboards using Tableau and Alteryx that enable data user and metrics visualizations to drive strategic decision-making; utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio) to create documents, presentations, and process diagrams; implementing operating models that streamline cross-team collaboration for deploying Al solutions.
