As an Experience Design Senior Associate on the One Chase Experience Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products and services by leveraging your advanced knowledge of experience design principles. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will create innovative, inclusive, and accessible solutions that cater to a diverse range of users. As a core contributor, you will align user needs with business goals. Your strong understanding of the financial services industry and JPMC's IT systems will contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings, navigating complex problems and driving strategic thinking. Your impact will be significant in the design, architecture, and functionality of our products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.

This position will design experiences and services that support the development of the JP Morgan Private Client offering. The Private Client offering serves affluent households by providing concierge banking, personalized wealth advice, and access to the best of JP Morgan Chase. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create solutions that attract and engage affluent customers across all business channels. The team will focus on delivering seamless, high-touch experiences in human, digital, and retail environments. Your work will help acquire new clients and deepen relationships with existing ones, ensuring our affluent customers receive exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop elegant solutions to specific interaction problems, ensuring consistency across multiple products and platforms while adhering to industry best practices and ADA guidelines.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of information architecture and storyboarding to create user-centric designs that enhance navigation, discoverability, and overall user satisfaction.
  • Operate with an iterative design mindset, incorporating user feedback, insights, and data-driven analyses to continuously improve the overall user experience of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, content writers, researchers, developers, and data scientists) on the end-to-end product design process from discovery through launch.
  • Assist in the analysis of market trends, user research studies, and user behavior analyses to inform design decisions and contribute to the team's strategic thinking.
  • Leverage visual design, layout, and usability best practices to ensure maximum digital design quality for our users.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years in a user experience design or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and services.
  • Proven ability to create visually appealing and functional designs using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and optimizing user experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and other digital channels.
  • Collaborative team mindset and ability to present rationale behind design decisions.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proven expertise in designing exceptional experiences for affluent customer segments in industries such as luxury goods and services, hospitality, financial services, travel, or other industries that cater to clients with white glove service models.
  • Deep understanding of the affluent banking landscape, including specialized service offerings, premium products, and tailored service models.
  • Skill designing in Salesforce environments such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, including use of Salesforce Lightning Design System in rapid, iterative service prototyping cycles.
  • Advocate for accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices, with a track record of shipping multiple successful digital products that demonstrate user- and human-centered design approaches.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks such as React, and mobile UI standards working with multiple enterprise Design Language Systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how design connects with broader business value.
