Come join JP Morgan's Global Security Team as a a Product Delivery Associate and be a pivotal role in safeguarding our employees, clients and assets 

 

As a Data Delivery Associate within our Global Security department, your primary responsibility will be to lead and execute data hydration efforts, a priority for the foreseeable future, ensuring seamless data integration and flow across systems. You will play a vital role in supporting the Data Integration Messaging and Reporting Product, contributing to a unified incident management platform, advanced reporting, and AI/ML driven solutions. This role requires a solutions-oriented thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data transparency and compliance. You will work across Product, Engineering, and Business teams, managing the day-to-day delivery engine and advancing Global Security’s broader data strategy roadmap. You will act as the execution leader and trusted partner to the Product Director of Data Integration, Messaging & Report and Data Owners, bringing Global Security’s key technology initiatives to fruition, including document collection, data extraction, and data product workflows. As these initiatives mature, your role will evolve into overseeing business-as-usual data management for the team, maintaining and enhancing the established data processes and systems.

 

Job Responsibilities

  •  Lead and execute data ingestion / hydration efforts, ensuring seamless integration and flow across systems.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data lineage documentation by collaborating with data owners to ensure accurate data flow and dependencies
  •  Oversee data integration projects from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Facilitate seamless data flow and accessibility for reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
  •  Utilize Jira to create and manage epics and user stories.
  • Spearhead the foundational development of the Data Catalog and Ontology.
  •  Demonstrate the ability to thrive both as a team player and an independent contributor.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project coordination, delivery management, or product operations, ideally with a focus on data management and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, with strong technical writing skills to clearly translate complex information for diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyze detailed business requirements. Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Looker, Databricks, and utilizing large language models (LLMs).
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with data integration tools and technologies, as well as statistical data analysis.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies, including managing epics and user stories within Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work with large and complex systems and datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proficiency in at least one cloud data lakehouse platform (e.g., Databricks Lakehouse, AWS Lake Formation, ThoughtSpot), relevant data services (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift; Azure Data Factory; Google Cloud BigQuery), and one scheduling/orchestration tool. Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like Monday.co
  • Experience in data engineering, modeling, and cloud architecture design, with a focus on building solutions for data lineage, metadata management, and data quality improvements. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of data integration principles, including foundational concepts, patterns, best practices, API-first design methodologies, GraphQL, and Kafka services.
  • Experience building intelligent analytics products utilizing AI/ML techniques.
  • Exposure to security or real estate operations, including understanding physical security, investigation processes, and incident management, to support data responsibilities.
  • Certification or Accreditation in data management or data governance (e.g. CDMP, DGSP).
