Your future duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will guide CGI’s AI strategy and execution, leading the design, delivery, and optimisation of innovative AI solutions that enable our clients to realise measurable value. You will act as a trusted advisor and thought leader, collaborating with clients, internal business units, and delivery teams to translate complex challenges into impactful, scalable AI applications. You will nurture expertise across CGI’s AI community, shaping the next generation of intelligent, ethical, and responsible technology.
• Lead & Innovate: Define AI strategies and solutions that align with clients’ goals and CGI’s growth ambitions.
• Develop & Deliver: Architect, implement, and integrate AI solutions using modern frameworks and methodologies.
• Advise & Inspire: Engage with stakeholders to drive adoption of AI technologies and share thought leadership across CGI.
• Optimise & Govern: Ensure AI solutions meet rigorous standards of quality, reliability, and ethical integrity.
• Mentor & Grow: Support capability development and foster continuous learning within CGI’s AI teams.
• Shape the Future: Influence CGI’s go-to-market strategy, driving innovation and evolution within our AI business.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
To succeed, you’ll bring a deep technical background in AI, data science, and cloud technologies, with strong experience leading complex digital transformation projects. You’ll combine strategic insight with hands-on expertise and a collaborative mindset that delivers results.
• Proven experience designing and delivering applied AI/ML solutions (e.g., NLP, computer vision, deep learning).
• Strong understanding of AI frameworks, data engineering, and governance practices.
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Demonstrated success in client engagement, proposal writing, and competitive bidding.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across teams.
