Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing data platform solutions.
Play a pivotal role in the Data & Analytics team, shaping the future of data architecture.
Mentor BI Platform Architects and contribute to the growth of the technical community.
Drive architecture strategy for Azure and Databricks-based platforms.
Architect and deliver end-to-end data platform solutions using Azure and Databricks, aligned with strategic frameworks.
Develop and own technical solution architecture documents for key work packages.
Collaborate across engineering teams and technical departments to ensure robust infrastructure design.
Lead technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts to inform design decisions.
Champion best practices in data engineering, governance, and agile delivery.
Mentor and guide technical teams, sharing expertise and fostering knowledge growth.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks, including data storage, security, networking, and cost optimisation.
Strong understanding of engineering methodologies and data sharing capabilities.
Experience designing secure, scalable cloud solutions for data-driven organisations.
Agile and DevOps mindset, familiar with Git, Jira, and modern delivery practices.
Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Familiarity with PowerBI (beneficial but not essential).
Experience driving technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts.
Background in cloud security, cost optimisation, and governance practices.
