As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank's Global Banking Tech Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement RPA Solutions: Build, test, and deploy automation workflows and bots using UI Path Studio, integrating Python scripts as needed for advanced data processing
- Leverage Gen AI/LLM/Machine Learning to create solutions for problem statements shared by business partners
- Take ownership of end to end SDLC from requirements gathering with Product/Business partners, design, development, approvals (architecture/security), deployment and post deployment support
- Drive innovation by identifying and developing new opportunities, while simultaneously optimizing existing processes and solutions which includes building and presenting POCs, collaborating with team members, and seamlessly integrating enhancements into the current delivery model
- Troubleshoot issues/analyze queries from business stakeholders for existing automations
- Follow good engineering practices: Architecture Review, Robust Documentation, Code Hygiene, Integrated Test Suite
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- 7 years of experience in RPA automation and Python
- Hands-on experience with UI Path Studio (workflow design, activities, debugging, deployment)
- Experience with Ui Path Orchestrator for managing, scheduling, and monitoring bots in production environments.
- Ability to design systems that leverage AI for decision-making, predictive analytics, or intelligent data extraction
- Working knowledge of Python (APIs, Classes, Deployment using Uvicorn etc )
- Strong understanding of DevOps and deployment architecture
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Exposure to Agile/Kanban and JIRA etc for project management and planning
- Familiarity with Prompt Engineering for writing code and solving technical/business problems
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
