Salary: Up to £64,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
LOCATION: This role can be based in London, Salford, Birmingham Mailbox, Glasgow or Cardiff. This is a hybrid role, and the successful candidate will balance home working with office working and travel to BBC locations.

This role is based within the Corporate Systems department, which sits in the Technology and Media Operations division.
In this team there are 3 primary disciplines: project management, product management & business analysis. This team delivers technology projects, continuous improvement & technical support for a variety of systems & applications that are used by employees across the BBC group.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Lead discovery activities to establish objectives, scope, risks, benefits, and impacts, enabling accurate sizing and prioritisation of programmes, projects, or BAU initiatives.
• Identify, build, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and disciplines to ensure alignment with business needs and strategic goals.
• Accurately capture, analyse, and validate business requirements (functional, non-functional, technical, and general), ensuring they are valid, traceable, and contribute to business cases and project/solution delivery.
• Identify and advise on strategic options and technical solutions, leveraging research and domain knowledge to inform business decisions, uncover opportunities for improvement, and support long-term planning.
• Define and track business benefits, establish performance measures, and ensure value delivery through benefits mapping and progress reporting.
DESIRABLE:
• Commercial focus, proven influencing, negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Considerable experience gained within a media or similar multi-national organisation.
• Experience in leading change initiatives at programme level.
