ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior GEOINT Data Scientist to join our team in Springfield, VA!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Apply Advanced Technical Expertise
Use a wide range of data science and geospatial skills—such as GIS, database management, data visualization, spatial statistics, machine learning, and trend analysis—to evaluate and transform complex GEOINT data into actionable insights.
- Develop Data Solutions
Design methods, tools, and workflows for discovering, preparing, and normalizing big data to improve analysis, modeling, and operational decision-making.
- Educate and Brief Stakeholders
Deliver briefings and training to analysts, managers, and international partners on data science methods, tools, and benefits, including how they enhance GEOINT missions.
- Provide SME Support
Serve as a subject matter expert to the Intelligence Community, GEOINT organizations, and contractors, advising on technical approaches and best practices.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- HS Diploma and 10+ years of GEOINT experience OR Associate’s degree and 8+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience OR Master’s degree + 4 years of experience
- Experience with Python and data mining
- Strong writing and briefing skills consistent with national-level performance
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain & maintain a Polygraph.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
