We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our amazing SaaS team, responsible for taking our product to the next level of working in SaaS, while developing the infrastructure for SaaS solutions using advanced technologies.

This role is based in Houston TX, with a hybrid work model - 3 days a week in-office, 2 days a week from home.
 
In this role, you will develop and maintain efficient and reliable DevOps functions for the Control-M product, while working as a part of an awesome DevOps team. You will also collaborate with cross-organization teams, such as application development, QA, Support etc.

  • Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
    Design and develop new services and processes for our SaaS solution.
    Plan, design, and develop our SaaS infrastructure, operation engine and deployment strategy.
    Provide creative technical skills to transform sophisticated backend servers to a SaaS solution
    Maintain the existing code and our SaaS solution includes troubleshooting and solving problems in production.
    Work on the next-generation technologies, products, and solutions for our new data platform.
    Develop and adopt new technologies aim on improving our overall CI/CD pipelines
  • To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
    3+ years’ experience in a DevOps role
    Experience in scripting, specifically in Python
    Experience in SaaS architecture development in AWS
    Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, helm, and Jenkins.
    Experience with “infrastructure as code” for AWS like CloudFormation and Terraform.
    Knowledge in automation processes, automation tools, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
    A problem-solver with an investigative mentality.
    A team player with good communication & collaboration skills.
  • Nice to Have:
    Operational and operability tools like DataDog.
    Involvement in all the chain of development – from design to production.
    Experience working in a very large scale within a global enterprise
