About the Role:
We are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer I to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to software development projects within a specific functional area or product line. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Write and review portions of detailed specifications for system components of simple complexity.
Complete basic bug fixes.
Implement development processes, coding best practices, and participate in code reviews under the guidance of senior engineers.
Collaborate with stakeholders in various development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Resolve basic technical issues as needed.
Stay updated on new technology developments.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Familiarity with data manipulation languages and data modeling principles.
Understanding of data storage subsystems.
Knowledge of development languages such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net.
Awareness of test-driven development practices.
Strong desire to learn new processes and technologies.
Basic oral and written communication skills.
