About the Role
Scale Computing is a leader in providing converged infrastructure solutions to the retail and hospitality industry. Our customers are some of the largest and best known global store, restaurant, and hospitality brands. Our solution is built on a cutting edge Linux based virtualization stack that features total management through a DevOps driven infrastructure. We design, develop, and maintain a software stack that includes a highly available core virtualization solution built on Debian Linux with Corosync, Pacemaker, Docker, and KVM, with supporting management code built in Puppet and Ruby. Our back-end management environment includes Ruby, Rails, and Redis components.
The Linux Systems Engineer performs production systems integration work involving Linux, networking, open source tools, and automation, to implement our solutions.
